Medical & Research Disclaimer

Read this before using any calculator on this site. Educational use only. Not medical advice.

Last reviewed April 2026

The calculators and content on PeptideCalculators.org are provided for educational and reference purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, pharmaceutical advice, or a prescription. Using this site does not create a doctor–patient or clinician–patient relationship. If you are considering administering any peptide to yourself or another person, consult a qualified licensed healthcare professional.

1. Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this site — including calculator outputs, worked examples, titration tables, FAQs, guides, comparisons, or any other content — is medical advice. The calculators perform arithmetic. They do not assess whether a given drug, dose, indication, route, or duration is appropriate for any individual. Decisions about whether to use a peptide, at what dose, for how long, and for what purpose must be made by a licensed clinician who has examined you and reviewed your medical history.

2. No Clinician–Patient Relationship

Reading this site, using a calculator, submitting a correction report, or contacting us does not establish a clinician–patient, physician–patient, or pharmacist–patient relationship. We are a publisher. We are not your care team.

3. Regulatory Status of Covered Substances

We cover substances that fall into three distinct regulatory categories. Each category carries different risks and legal implications in the United States; the status may differ in other jurisdictions.

  • Approved drugs. Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) are FDA-approved prescription medications. Off-label use, use of compounded versions, and use without a prescription carry legal and safety implications that are your responsibility to understand.
  • Investigational drugs. Retatrutide is an investigational compound in ongoing clinical trials. It is not approved for use outside of an authorized clinical trial in the United States. It cannot be legally prescribed as a finished drug.
  • Research peptides. BPC-157, TB-500, and similar peptides are not approved by the FDA for human use for any indication. They are not compliant as dietary supplements under DSHEA. BPC-157 has been evaluated under the FDA’s Section 503A bulks list process and is not authorized for compounding. Content about these substances is provided as research reference only. We do not endorse or recommend human administration. Use at your own risk, in jurisdictions where such use is legal, and only in contexts (such as legitimate preclinical research) where it is appropriate.

4. Accuracy and Limitations

We make significant effort to ensure the calculators and reference content are accurate, sourced, and current (see our methodology page). However:

  • We do not guarantee that any calculator is free of errors at any given moment.
  • We do not guarantee that dosing references reflect the most current clinical data, regulatory changes, or product updates for your specific vial, supplier, or jurisdiction.
  • Calculators do not account for renal function, hepatic function, drug-drug interactions, pregnancy, pediatric status, comorbid disease, allergies, product contamination, or mislabeling.
  • Calculators assume that the vial’s labeled strength and purity are accurate. We cannot verify this for you.

Before acting on any calculator output, verify the math yourself and confirm the result with a qualified clinician.

5. Sport, Employment, and Competition Considerations

Several substances covered on this site are classified as prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List, including GLP-1 agonists in some contexts, TB-500 (S2 class), and other peptides. If you are a competitive athlete, a member of the armed forces, an employee subject to drug testing, or otherwise subject to anti-doping or drug-free-workplace rules, you are responsible for verifying the status of any substance before use.

6. No Endorsement of Sourcing

We do not sell peptides. We do not recommend specific compounding pharmacies, research chemical vendors, or telehealth platforms. Mentions of brand names (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and similar) are for identification and accuracy only and do not constitute endorsement.

7. No Warranty

The content and calculators on this site are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PeptideCalculators.org and its contributors disclaim all liability for any damages arising from use of, or reliance on, the site’s content, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. User Responsibility

By using this site you acknowledge that:

  • You are using the calculators and content at your own risk.
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output before acting on it.
  • You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction regarding the substances covered.
  • You will consult a licensed healthcare professional before administering any substance to yourself or another person.
  • You understand the regulatory status of each substance as described in Section 3.

9. Jurisdiction

This site is published from the United States. Content may not be appropriate or lawful in all jurisdictions. If you access the site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
